I recently finished a 1000-mile cycle ride from John O’Groats all the way down to Land’s End. Whilst it was an incredible experience, with some stunning scenery, wildlife and weather, there were also days where we were riding into gale force winds in the driving rain, and thus you won’t find me doing it again in a hurry! Still, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a challenge, or a way to fill 10-14 days of your holiday (we ended up doing it in 12).
