This really excellent flash video shows the progression of Empires that have ruled the Middle East. Big shout for the Persian Empire when it pops up!
This clip, from the 2009 Red Nose Day programme, shows Catherine Tate meeting with Tony Blair. The reason I post it now is that I am wondering whether Mr. Blair might be very bothered indeed about some of the accusations levelled at him in Mandelson’s new book!
It’s now very out of date, but still, as always with Cassetteboy, it’s hilarious! A fond memory from the time that politics, not football, was the issue at the front of every Briton’s mind.
