Music is dead! As this video shows, almost all the hit songs of the past few decades use just four simple chords.
Polonium dreams.
This certainly rings true!
The Dangers of Bread
- More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread-eaters.
- 50 percent of all children who grow up in bread-consuming households score below average on standardized tests.
- More than 90 percent of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread.
- Primitive tribal societies that have no bread exhibit a low occurrence of cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease and osteoporosis.
- Bread has been proven to be addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water to eat begged for bread after only two days.
- Bread is baked at temperatures as high as 400 degrees Fahrenheit! That kind of heat can kill an adult in less than one minute.
- Bread is often a “gateway” food item, leading the user to “harder” items such as butter, jam, peanut butter and even honey.
- Most American bread-eaters are utterly unable to distinguish between significant scientific fact and meaningless statistical babbling.
Shocking, isn’t it?
A collection of the posters I designed for our school chess club.

Why It's Better to Pretend You Know Nothing About Computers
Just as with the Web Design one I posted a few months ago, this Oatmeal comic is funny because it’s so true!
An interesting comment on some of the work philosophers do!
This clip, from the 2009 Red Nose Day programme, shows Catherine Tate meeting with Tony Blair. The reason I post it now is that I am wondering whether Mr. Blair might be very bothered indeed about some of the accusations levelled at him in Mandelson’s new book!
With the Doctor Who finale later today, and the return of Top Gear tomorrow, this is the perfect time for a video combining two of my favourite TV shows!
